On December 4, 2023, the third delivery of propane to the Offshore Gas Terminal in Police took place. The raw material was unloaded into cryogenic tanks, where it is stored in a liquid state at a temperature of – 42°C. Propane is the raw material for the production of polypropylene under the Gryfilen® brand. The vessel that delivered the raw material is a modern gas vessel designed to carry LPG in a liquefied state – the Guadalupe Explorer.

From the beginning of December the installation for the production of propylene and polypropylene is being commissioned after a three-week mandatory technological shutdown. During the installation shutdown, an inspection of the devices was done and the faults identified during test runs were removed.

We would like to inform residents of villages neighboring the plant that the noise level may increase in the coming days, related to compressors and flare activity.

After commissioning, the installation will operate in continuous production mode and the noise level will return to the parameters assumed in the project..
