GUIDELINES FOR DRIVERS

Advice note:

One working day before loading, max till 10 o’clock, please send us the following details by e-mail:

  • driver’s name,
  • driver’s telephone number,
  • ID document number,
  • truck and trailer numbers.

ATTENTION:
In order to efficiently carry out the registration and loading process, the driver should arrive at the place 15 minutes before the booked time window.

Driver documents:

We ask that the driver bring the following documents: 

  • ID, 
  • the registration certificate for the truck and trailer,
  • shipment number,
  • GA Polyolefins driver’s ID (number assigned to the driver at the first loading in GA Polyolefins S.A.).

Driver equipment:

Each driver should be equipped with:

  • safety helmet,
  • gloves,
  • safety shoes with metal or composite toes/soles, 
  • reflective waistcoat,
  • safety glasses,
  • in case of bulk loading – also safety harness.

Protective equipment is required to meet CE safety standards.

Entering hours:

To the GA Polyolefins Logistics Platform:

Monday – Friday
7:00 – 19:00

Necessary vehicle equipment:

Each vehicle entering the GA Polyolefins area should be equipped with:

  • fire extinguishers with valid inspection tests required by law,
  • first aid kit.

Trailers:

A tarpaulin vehicle entering the GA Polyolefins premises should be equipped with:

  • a minimum of 3 rows of transverse side beams – up to the height of the goods,
  • a minimum of two spreader beams,
  • lashing straps – 12 pieces (Lashings and tensioners must comply with EN 12195-2, marked and in good condition. The allowable LC of the lashings is min. 2500daN, min. length is 9 m),
  • a minimum of 20 corner pads for lashing straps or an alternative solution that does not affect the structure of the goods on the pallet,
  • fire extinguishers, having valid inspection tests required by law,
  • first aid kit.

Before loading:

Each driver who enters the GA Polyolefins site before loading is invited to the Gate House, where he must read the PPL regulations and sign a statement of compliance with them.

Before entering the PPL each driver will be equipped with a safety hood for use only in case of emergency. This hood must be returned before leaving the PPL.

Before leaving PPL, escape hood must be returned.

Tared and loading:

The truck is then tared and allocated for loading.

For FCA conditions: after the second weighing, the driver receives: a delivery note;

The driver issues the consignment note (CMR) himself.

Export outside EU
cases only:

Trailers

For customs clearance, the car is allocated in a recognized place located on the PPL Logistics Platform and awaits the export declaration (EX1).

If certificates of origin are required (COO, EUR1, AT-R, etc.), the car must go to our customs agency:

Containers:

Truck is allocated at our customs area located on Logistic Platform PPL, and waits for export declaration ( EX1). 

If Customs certificates are required ( COO, EUR1 , AT-R, etc ), our custom agency will issue certificate and send to GA Polyolefins by post.
The CSG team organizes the delivery of documents to the client.
